What to do

The first 1,000 participants will receive a pair of ‘Ride the World’ stickers
Put the stickers on your bike/panniers/helmet and…

Visit the Locations!

Some locations have an obvious roadsign like 'Welcome to Ireland', but in their absence just click the map to see if we've identified a specific landmark you can photograph.

Take a photo at each location with you or your bike visible.

Post the photo on social media using both of these hashtags: #TractionByDunlop and #RideTheWorldUK

Upload the photo for inclusion on the gallery at www.overlandevent.com/ridetheworld and click Submit

Visit 5 places
The first 500 participants to complete a valid visit to 5 locations will receive a Voucher for £30 off the cost of fitting of Dunlop Motorcycle Tyres at Dunlop Pro Dealers. To claim your voucher, email ridetheworld@overlandevent.com
Visit 10 places
The first 500 participants to complete a valid visit to 10 locations will receive a free Ride the World
T-shirt, which also has a back print of all the venues on your 2021 World Tour.

For every 5 places you visit
Get an entry into a draw to WIN Dunlop tyres of your choice.
The prize draw for the first 5 sets of Dunlop motorcycle tyres took place on Saturday 5th September.
The next prize draw for further tyres will take place on Saturday 5th February. Participants will receive one entry for the draw per 5 valid location entries. Winners will be chosen at random and notified by email.
Stuff to remember
Your safety is YOUR responsibility. While every effort has been made to ensure that all locations included in Overland’s ‘Ride The World’ have a safe place to stop and take a photo with a suitable sign or landmark, circumstances may change – you need to make the decision on whether it is safe to stop or not, and whether it is safe to take a photo. Overland Events Limited cannot be and does not purport to be responsible for your safety.
Be aware of the potential for distraction while looking for a location and remain alert to traffic and road conditions at all times. Ride the World safely please! Remaining 'safe' includes being aware of any changing Government regulations regarding Covid-19, and adhering to them.

Overland’s ‘Ride The World UK’ is open to all UK residents. If you are not UK resident, you can still participate but your rewards and any prizes can only be shipped to a UK address.
Boring Terms & Conditions
There is no cash alternative to the rewards and prizes.

A valid visit to a location is one where the photo of the visit has been posted to social media with the designated hashtag and uploaded to the competition site. The Adminstrator’s decision on what counts as a valid entry is final.

By submitting an image, entrants give Overland Events Ltd the right to publish the image on its website or in any media as it thinks fit.
Entries which are considered offensive, defamatory or abusive, are otherwise inappropriate or are deemed to not show a ‘Ride the World’ location will not be published and will not count as an entry. The Adminstrator’s discretion on this is final.

The closing date for entries is Saturday 4th February 2022 and no entries received after that time will be considered for entry to the Prize Draw.

All entrants must supply their name, e-mail and UK postal addresses. Overland Events Ltd will not pass these details on to any third party.
No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. Overland Events Ltd reserves the right to cancel or alter or amend Ride the World UK at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
