There are a great number of overseas presenters coming to The Overland Event 2025, all with great stories to tell having ridden the world. Indeed some of them are still out there riding, only taking a break to fly back to Oxford for The Event at the end of August.
Kinga Tanajewska is a great example. Originally from Poland, where she hacked around on Eastern Bloc 125s, she's currently in Mexico with her F800GS. That may not sound excessive, but she left her adopted home in Australia back in 2017 and has been riding ever since! By next August goodness where she'll have reached with her bike, but she's going to be meeting all of us in Oxford. You catch up with her progress through her OnHerBike moniker.
Greg and Melanie Turp are similar nomads who have ridden 800,000 miles on six continents. They are now loosely based in the US but just can't stop riding so we're not sure exactly where they'll be coming from either!
Also from the US, but now permanently settled in Georgia with a business repairing air-head Beemers are David and Emy Woodburn who have a truely remarkable story about sidecar'ing around the world with their daughter. You can read some of it here, but there's a book that we hope they'll be signing at The Overland Event.
Molly Harrison has ridden the Americas, Europe and Asia, and will be talking about Baja at The Event, something she knows alot about, both as regular traveller and as Rally team member! She's fling in from North America too.
We're also delighted to be welcoming speakers from Germany, Ireland, France, Belgium and Canada. It's going to be a truly International Overland Event!
