Brittany Ferries was founded in 1973, the same year Ted Simon began his first journey around the world, and operates the widest choice of cross-Channel ferries from Portsmouth, Poole and Plymouth.
Although Caen is the most popular sailing destination on the French coast, Brittany Ferries also offers routes to St Malo, Cherbourg, Le Havre, and Roscoff. For travellers going to or from Spain, there are services to Bilboa and Santander.
Brittany Ferries were named ‘Best Small Tour Operator to Western Europe’ and ‘Best Small Camping and Mobile Tour Operator’ in the British Travel Awards, and ‘Best Ferry Operator’ in the prestigious Telegraph Travel Awards 2013.
